Abroad Institute provides students with transfer services. Transferring is a very daunting and exhaustive process as there are various factors involved in making transfer decisions for both domestic and international students. A well-thought-out plan is a key to making a successful transfer from a 2-year college or community college to a four–year Bachelor’s program.
Also, it is confusing for international students in their home countries to figure out if their courses are transferable to the colleges and universities program of their choice. This is equally confusing to the receiving colleges and universities as well. In addition to that students are confused about application deadlines, deadlines for applying for scholarships, and other factors. Abroad Institute will help you with proper counseling, helping you create your checklist transfer plan and application process.
Transferring to an Associate Degree can save tuition fees for students and also once students complete an associate degree they can transfer to a Bachelor’s degree and complete the degree with less financial burden.
The transfer process entails hurdles students can tackle with proper guidance and preparation. Students can learn college requirements for the specific institution's website and from the Common Data Set for each school's transfer requirements for US institutions. Other resources could be the College Board and Common Application, and other organizations.
Students should also be aware of pathway programs that aim to ease the transfer from a two- to a four-year college.
